Yemen's Sanaa Airport warns of terrorist acts against Airlines

The authorities operating at Sana'a International Airport have warned of any terrorist acts that Yemeni Airlines, other companies and passengers traveling on board may be exposed to through Sana'a International Airport.

The authorities operating at Sana'a International Airport said, in a letter they addressed to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and to Yemen Airways, that they disclaim responsibility for any terrorist acts or hijacking of any departing or arriving plane.

The statement explained that the reason for this is due to the blatant interference in the security and safety of civil aviation by elements affiliated with the Houthi leader, Ahmed Al-Hashemi, and the involvement of the airport director, Khaled Shayef.

The statement said that the militia are storming the restricted areas related to the security and safety of civil aviation.

Sanaa Airport receives daily flights coming from different capitals for commercial and humanitarian purposes, especially since the truce was announced on the second of last April.
