Iran backed-Houthis lay off dozens of officers from police departments

The Iran backed-Houthis have laid off dozens of officers from the police departments and security services in the areas under their control, after the officers refused to attend Houthi compulsory sectarian courses. Security sources in Sana'a told Khabar Agency.

The sources said that the Houthi Ministry of Interior laid off dozens of officers from the police departments, including some directors of those departments, on the grounds of their refusal to attend (sectarian) courses.

The Houthis gave them the choice between leaving their jobs or going to training camps to attend sectarian and ideological courses. The sources added.
