The UAE health authorities reported 346 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infections after conducting over 38,000 tests, taking the overall number to 42,982 cases.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention said two infected patients had passed away due to coronavirus complications, raising the death toll to 293 to-date.
In a statement reported by the UAE news agency (WAM), the ministry said that an additional 732 infected patients had fully recovered, taking the overall number of recoveries to 28,861.
