North Korea on Thursday criticized the recent visit to South Korea by top US defense officials, saying the United States and its allies are raising tensions in the region, state media reported.
In a statement carried by the KCNA news agency, a spokesperson for the North’s defense ministry said Pyongyang will secure its interests through more “aggressive” responses to what it called “evolving military threats” by the United States and its allies.
