 UN Security Council to hold emergency meeting after Rafah strike: Diplomats

The UN Security Council has convened an emergency meeting for Tuesday after a deadly Israeli strike on a displaced persons camp in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, diplomats told AFP.

The closed-door meeting was requested by Algeria, which is currently a non-permanent member of the council, diplomats said.
