Iran-backed Houthis bomb residential neighborhoods in Yemen's Taiz

Residential neighborhoods in the city of Taiz (southwest Yemen) have been under Houthi shelling for the fourth consecutive day, amidst a suspicious international and UN silence.

Human rights and local sourcessaid that the Iran-backed Houthis have been carrying out direct shelling for the past four days during the evening hours on the frontlines and throughout the city of Taiz.

A Yemeni official said that the Houthi shelling has focused on the areas of Al-Sayahi and Ma'etah in Jabal Habshi, along with shelling on the areas of Tabat Al-Salal, Abaar, and Salla.
