Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia reports another drop in cases with 436 new infections

Saudi Arabia reports 436 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of coronavirus infections in the Kingdom to 349,822, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday.

The capital Riyadh registered the highest number of new cases, detecting 69 infections in 24 hours. Medina reported 68 cases, Mecca reported 32, and Yanbu reported 25.

The other new infections were recorded in cities and provinces around the country.

Seventeen people died due to complications caused by COVID-19, which brings the virus-related death toll in Saudi Arabia to 5,506.

The total number of recoveries in the country rose to 336,533 after 465 people recovered from the coronavirus.
