The coastal city of Mokha is celebrating Eid al-Adha with the fourth edition of the "Eidna Mokha" festival, which has drawn large crowds and showcased a strong public appetite for artistic and cultural events. Organized by the local authority and the Ministry of Culture in partnership with Al-Gomhoria Channel, the festival's second artistic night on Tuesday saw significant audience engagement.

Thousands of visitors and families filled the Mokha Corniche square, arriving early to partake in the festive atmosphere. This event has become a prominent Eid celebration in the city, demonstrating the festival's success in attracting attendees from various regions.

The evening commenced with artist Ali Mujahid's performance of "Ya Tair Ya Dhi Maghrib," followed by a joint performance with artist Hajar Noman. They presented a diverse repertoire of Yemeni and traditional songs, which were met with enthusiastic participation from the audience, who joined in singing and applauded the varied artistic segments.

The success of the second night builds upon the triumph of the festival's inaugural night, which featured artists Suha Al-Masri, Abdulrahman Al-Samawi, and Reem Al-Aghbri, also to large and engaged audiences. Artist Hajar Noman praised the festival's attendees, noting their high level of interaction and enjoyment of the diverse musical performances. She highlighted the festival's unique setting on the Mokha coast, emphasizing the city's aesthetic and tourist appeal, and commended the organizational efforts and facilities provided by the committee.

Artist Ali Mujahid described the festival's audience as "thirsty for art," expressing his admiration for the interaction he experienced during his participation. Mujahid, visiting Mokha for the first time, observed a strong public passion for Yemeni, Arab, and Gulf music, alongside a clear desire for artistic enjoyment and festive ambiance. He also lauded the event's organization, including its technical and sound arrangements, and expressed his pleasure in participating in this exceptional edition of the festival.

The three-day festival continues to offer a series of artistic and entertainment activities for families and visitors during the Eid al-Adha holiday. These efforts by the local authority and the Ministry of Culture aim to revive cultural and artistic activities and boost tourism and entertainment in Mokha. Over its four years, the "Eidna Mokha" festival has become synonymous with Eid joy in the city, merging art, entertainment, and family in a shared space, with increasing public attendance underscoring its success and establishment as a highly anticipated seasonal event on the West Coast.
