Iran Denies Final Decision on US Agreement, Cites Shifting US Stance

Iran has stated that no definitive decision has been reached regarding a potential agreement with the United States, emphasizing that the nation will not concede on its fundamental principles during negotiations.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei conveyed this position on Thursday, as reported by Iran's IRNA news agency. Baghaei dismissed reports concerning the timing and location for the signing of any agreement as speculative, asserting that no conclusions have been finalized.

He further indicated that while a significant portion of the proposed negotiating text has been agreed upon, the United States has persistently altered its stance throughout the discussions.
