The Yemeni businessman, Amin Tawfiq Abdul Rahim, concluded an illegal business deal with the pro-Iranian Houthi militia, with the aim of returning to practice his commercial activity from within the Houthi-controlled areas.
Informed sources said that Amin Abdul Rahim concluded an agreement with the judicial guard of the Houthi militia, called Saleh Misfer Al-Sha'er, so that the commercial companies affiliated with the Tawfiq Abdul Rahim would be at the disposal of the Houthi militia in international commercial transactions.
The agreement allows Abdul Rahim to return to practice his trade inside the Houthi-controlled areas, in exchange for passing commercial businesses, money transfers, and commercial activity serving the Houthi militia.
The sources revealed that, based on the agreement, the judicial guard of the Houthi militia, issued a circular to the militia security authorities with a “safety and guarantee” by Amin Tawfiq Abdul Rahim Mutahar.
The circular said that the return of "Amin Abdul Rahim to the exercise of his activities and daily life inside the areas under the control of the Houthis, in exchange for what the circular called" to be a good citizen. "
However, the sources confirmed that a commercial agreement concluded by Al-Shae'r with Abdul Rahim, for commercial purposes and the practice of suspicious activities serving the Houthi militia, especially since many of the commercial companies that the Houthis used to smuggle Iranian money, weapons, and drugs, were revealed by Yemeni organizations.
