Nearly 90 Killed In Myanmar On Junta's Armed Forces Day: Monitoring Group

Myanmar's security forces killed nearly 90 people across the country on Saturday, according to a local monitoring group -- the same day the junta celebrated its Armed Forces Day with a parade in Naypyidaw.

"At least 89 were killed by early evening," said the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners, a local group tracking the death toll since the coup.
