Saudi Crown Prince, China's Xi Agree on Bolstering Partnership

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, held telephone talks on Friday with China's President Xi Jinping.

Discussions focused on bilateral cooperation between their countries and ways to develop them through the joint Saudi-Chinese council.

They agreed to exert more efforts to bolster the partnership and strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and China.

Crown Prince Mohammed and Xi also tackled the latest international developments of interest.

Xi hailed Saudi Arabia's pivotal role in the region and its efforts to achieve peace and stability in Yemen.

Earlier, Crown Prince Mohammed received a telephone call from Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for talks on bilateral relations and ways to bolster them.

They addressed opportunities for cooperation between their countries in various fields.
