A new explosion targets an international coalition convoy in Iraq's Saladin

The Iraqi Security Media Cell reported on Monday that an explosion targeted Logistics Convoys of international coalition forces leaving Iraq, in Saladin governorate.

No causalities were registered.

The international coalition convoys have been repeatedly targeted in Iraq during the past months, in incidents for which no party has claimed responsibility.

Armed Shiite factions, including the Iraqi Kata'ib Hezbollah Brigades, had threatened to target US forces and interests in Iraq if they did not withdraw in compliance with the Iraqi parliament’s decision to end the military presence in the country.
