Borussia M?nchengladbach beat Wolfsburg 2-0 on Sunday to end a run of five Bundesliga games without victory.
Wolfsburg had an early goal from Omar Marmoush disallowed for offside before Nathan Ngoumou opened the scoring for Gladbach in the 34th minute with a curling shot into the bottom left corner.
Marcus Thuram wrapped up matters with a 63rd-minute header after a long cross from Ngoumou was nodded on to him by Alassane Plea.
Gladbach remained 10th, one place and four points behind Wolfsburg who missed a chance to rise to seventh in their European ambitions as their run of five games without defeat came to an end.
The two later games bring together four teams in the relegation fight, with fifth-last Bochum hosting bottom side VfB Stuttgart and fourth-last Hoffenheim playing second-bottom Schalke.
