Ukraine said Monday it was targeted by 51 Russian missiles in a “massive” air attack overnight, 18 of which were shot down by its air defenses.
“Overnight on 8 January, 2024, the enemy launched a massive attack on Ukraine,” the air force said on social media, adding that it also downed eight drones.
