Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly slapping a massive €130 million price tag on winger Bradley Barcola, potentially making a move too costly for both Liverpool and Arsenal.
Recent reports from French outlet Le10 Sport suggest that while Liverpool has a strong interest in the young French talent, the asking price could be astronomical. Football transfer insider Fabrizio Romano also indicated that Barcola is on the radar for Liverpool, Arsenal, and another unnamed club this summer, noting that his agent has been Moussa Sissoko since 2025.
However, if PSG is indeed demanding €130 million, it would be wise for both Premier League giants to reconsider. Barcola, despite being a talented player, isn't a guaranteed starter for PSG. Transferring to a more competitive league like the Premier League and immediately stepping into a star role might be a big ask.
The 23-year-old did have a solid 2025/26 season, contributing 13 goals and five assists across Ligue 1 and the Champions League, helping PSG secure their European title. Yet, his reported transfer value of €130 million (around £112 million) seems excessive, especially when compared to Premier League-proven talents like Morgan Rogers, who is reportedly available for £80 million and has arguably posted more impressive stats, according to TEAMtalk.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal are in the market for wingers this summer. Liverpool needs to find a successor for Mohamed Salah, while an upgrade on Cody Gakpo would also be beneficial. Arsenal, on the other hand, might be looking to improve their options beyond Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, with the latter reportedly attracting transfer interest.
