Fresno Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Mailing Methamphetamine and Fentanyl

A Fresno resident has received a sentence of over 15 years in federal prison after admitting to charges of using the U.S. mail system to transport significant quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Isaac James Ocejo, 22, was implicated in the mailing of multiple packages containing illicit drugs between July 2023 and October 2024, as confirmed by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California.

Prosecutors detailed that in August 2024, Ocejo was involved in the sale of 10 pounds of methamphetamine to an individual in Fresno. The subsequent month, he and a co-defendant, Isaac Estrada, reportedly sold an additional 10 pounds of the drug to another individual in broad daylight at Trolley Creek Park in Fresno.

The packages containing the narcotics were dispatched from addresses within Fresno to destinations in other states. In total, Ocejo is credited with mailing approximately 22 pounds of methamphetamine and more than 2 pounds of fentanyl.

Ocejo entered a guilty plea on January 26 to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl. His co-defendant, Isaac Estrada, pleaded guilty on November 7, 2025, to conspiracy to distribute and distributing methamphetamine. Estrada was sentenced to 46 months in prison in August 2025.
