Aston Villa is reportedly in advanced negotiations to sign Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho on loan with a conditional option to buy.
The West Midlands club is keen to bring the 22-year-old forward to Villa Park, with manager Unai Emery said to be a long-time admirer of the player. Emery had previously shown interest in signing Garnacho before his move to Manchester United.
Garnacho's time at Manchester United has seen limited opportunities, with the young attacker scoring just eight goals last season and starting only 22 matches across all competitions. It appears he is not currently a central figure in the team's plans.
Aston Villa's potential acquisition comes as they prepare for UEFA Champions League football next season. The team is looking to bolster its attacking depth, and Garnacho, if he can rediscover his form and confidence, could be a valuable addition.
