Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly making serious moves to sign highly-rated RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, but the 19-year-old sensation reportedly has his sights set on a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, both Premier League giants have made fresh approaches to sign the Ivory Coast international over the past week. However, Diomande's representatives have already informed interested clubs that the player's heart is set on a move to PSG.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool are in the market for more attacking quality on the flanks. Diomande, considered one of Europe's finest young attacking talents with superstar potential, could offer a dynamic option and significant long-term investment for either club. He showcased his talent last season with an impressive 23 goal contributions.
Despite the Premier League clubs' interest, Diomande's preference for PSG could scupper their plans. The French champions are said to be in negotiations with Leipzig and are reportedly prepared to pay around €110 million to secure his signature. Liverpool, in particular, are looking to replace Mohamed Salah, while Arsenal also need to strengthen their options in wide attacking roles.
Adding another layer to the transfer saga, Manchester City are also monitoring Diomande's situation. This interest intensifies as City may soon lose their own winger, Savinho, who is rumored to be a target for Tottenham.
