Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on social media, stating that the 23-year-old has reached an agreement after positive talks. The focus now shifts to club-to-club negotiations between Liverpool and Valencia to iron out the final details of the loan deal before the transfer window closes.
Romano shared an update on X, formerly Twitter, saying: "Harvey Elliott has agreed personal terms with Valencia following positive talks today. Negotiations underway with Liverpool to get the deal done on club side." Interest from Serie A clubs Napoli and Lazio has also been noted.
Elliott's potential departure comes after he was left out of Liverpool's squad for their opening match against Newcastle United. Manager Andoni Iraola's decision suggests Liverpool is open to facilitating the loan as discussions continue.
