He suggested that while winning the league provides a massive psychological boost, enabling Arsenal to feel like the best team with the best squad, City's recent resurgence is a cause for concern. "I think what City did yesterday will be a little bit of a worry for Arsenal: 'Oh, we know who our challenger is right now!'" Carragher stated.
Carragher's warning carries weight, especially considering City's gritty victory over Manchester United. Playing with ten men from the 23rd minute after Phil Foden's red card and still snatching a win through Erling Haaland highlights the resilience crucial for title contenders.
