Arsenal are reportedly exploring a bold move for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, potentially as a replacement for Bukayo Saka, amid concerns over the latter's recent form.
The Gunners missed out on several attacking targets in the last transfer window and appear set to prioritize that area again. According to Fichajes, Arsenal are seriously considering a move for Olise, who is also attracting interest from top clubs like Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Liverpool.
The report raises the question of whether Arsenal should consider signing a replacement for Bukayo Saka, whose performances have reportedly dipped recently. While the club has focused on strengthening the left wing, an issue on the right with Saka is also apparent.
Olise has been in exceptional form, outperforming Saka in terms of goal contributions. Last season, Olise netted 22 goals across all competitions compared to Saka's 11. This season, he has already registered eight goal contributions in his first six games for Bayern, while Saka has three for Arsenal.
Having previously impressed in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, Olise's adaptability to English football is not in doubt. This potential transfer saga is likely to intensify if Saka's form does not see a significant improvement soon.
