Arsenal & Man Utd Eye Club Brugge Starlet Nicolo Tresoldi

Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly circling Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi, with both Premier League giants keen to boost their attacking options ahead of next summer's transfer window.

According to Football Insider, the two English powerhouses are just a few of the clubs keeping tabs on the 22-year-old, who has rapidly become one of Europe's hottest young goalscorers.

Tresoldi, a German-born Italian forward, has been on fire for Club Brugge this season, netting 12 goals in just 14 appearances across all competitions. His Champions League run has been particularly eye-catching, as he currently shares the top scorer title with football heavyweights Harry Kane and Erling Haaland. He's already proven he can perform on the big stage, bagging a hat-trick against Inter Milan in October and scoring against Aston Villa, which has only amplified his reputation among Europe's elite clubs.

For Arsenal, Tresoldi could represent a smart long-term investment for Mikel Arteta as he aims to keep the competition fierce in his forward line. Interestingly, the Gunners have already had success bringing talent over from Club Brugge, having signed Christos Tzolis, and might be looking to replicate that with another promising player.

Manchester United are also on the hunt for new attacking talent, and Tresoldi's sharp movement, clinical finishing, and considerable potential could make him a very attractive signing. However, securing his services won't be easy. Club Brugge is adamant about keeping their star striker until at least the end of the season and has no plans to let him go in the January transfer window.

Despite Tresoldi being under contract until 2029, giving Brugge a strong hand in negotiations, the Belgian club understands that holding onto him next summer will be a challenge given the intense interest. With Tottenham and Chelsea also reportedly monitoring the situation, Arsenal and Manchester United will likely need to prepare some serious offers to get their hands on the prolific young forward.
