Sources: AQAP and Iran-backed Houthis agree to evacuate areas in Al Baydha, head towards Marib


Several members of AQAP began leaving their stronghold areas in Al Baydha Governorate, central Yemen, heading to Marib province (Northeast), after an agreement concluded between them and Iran-backed Houthis to evacuate areas in the province to the Houthi militia. Local and Intelligence sources told Yemen Details.



 



 



Local sources said that they saw large numbers of terrorist members who share control of Qayfa with the Houthi militia, as they leave in batches towards Marib Governorate, Intelligence sources said that this was an agreement with the Houthi groups.



 



The sources confirmed that AQAP members began withdrawing from areas in Al Baydha Governorate after it made an agreement with the Houthi militia.



 



 



The sources pointed out that the terrorists began moving towards Marib, in conjunction with reports that the Houthi militia began planning to release more AQAP prisoners, and that this would be announced at the time.



 



AQAP is present with the Houthi militia in the regions of Dhahra, Najd Al-Shuhair, Al-Homeidah and Laqah, and they are coordinating the implementation of terrorist operations in a number of Yemeni regions.
