The Iran-backed Houthis continue to loot public and private lands and properties, whether those belonging to the state or belonging to citizens, which has recently begun to expand significantly, and has reached to loot and sell vast areas under various justifications and names, perhaps the most prominent of them (endowment lands) or investment projects, the last of which is under the pretext of establishing industrial cities.
Houthi company seized a large area of land belonging to citizens in Sana’a, which amounts to about 110,000 square meters, under the pretext of establishing an investment city.
Informed sources said that the fictitious company affiliated with the militia has fenced the lands, claiming that it is in order to build industrial cities, and the same thing is happening in Dhamar and other governorates.
The matter did not stop at this point, but the militia’s greed is expanding day by day. A few months ago, the militia sold government facilities and ministerial buildings, after abolishing some of them, such as the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance, and the Ministry of Planning.
The militia assigned special committees to make an inventory of all homes and lands according to each region and residential neighborhood, and to raise what they were assigned to do, in a move to confiscate homes and private and public lands.
Most of those who were subjected to these decisions were expatriates outside the country or those who had no power to protect them from the militia forces.
Local sources indicated that the militia had accused some citizens of treason, or their presence in the lands of the countries of the aggression, in order to confiscate their homes and lands.
The land of the Faculty of Medicine of Sana'a University, which has a very large area, witnessed the construction and fencing of a large number of squares according to the Houthi division of the college's land in the absence of the real role of the state to stop this absurdity.
