Iran-backed Houthis destroyed 73 bridges in Yemen's Hodeidah since the Stockholm Agreement was signed

The number of bridges and torrent ferries have been destroyed by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, in the liberated areas of Hodeidah Governorate, has reached about 73 bridges since the Stockholm Agreement was signed in late 2018.

A report for Irina Tsukerman NY- based human rights lawyer & national security analyst, titled "The Houthi missile attacks pose a global threat" said that the Houthi militia continued their violations of the ceasefire following the signing of the agreement, and they blew up and destroyed about 73 bridges and torrent ferries.

"The militias blowing up bridges would deprive thousands of people outside their control of the right to obtain aid and reach them safely". The report said.

The report confirmed that the Houthis, with landmines and missiles, destroyed the main roads and bridges linking Hodeidah directorates in the areas the militias lost, and the aim was to impede the progress of the Yemeni Joint Forces and prevent the return of the IDPs to their homes, a behavior that harms thousands of civilians.
