The Assistant Secretary-General of the General Union of Yemeni Journalists, Mahmoud Al-Taher, discussed with the Yemen for Cancer Care & Charity Foundation in Cairo, a joint cooperation and coordination project between the two parties during his visit, Thursday, to the Foundation.
Mr. Mahmoud Al-Taher, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Union, was received by the YCCCF Counselor Abdul Qawi Al-Qaisi, who welcomed him and thanked him for the initiative of the Union to visit the Foundation and see the humanitarian and charitable services and programs it provides to Yemenis patients.
Al-Qaisi also reviewed the most important projects adopted by the Foundation, such as treating thyroid patients with radioactive iodine, and atomic scanning due to its unavailability in Yemen.
Al-Taher for his part, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Foundation and its leaders for the warm reception and hospitality, expressing his admiration for the humanitarian and charitable services provided by the Foundation.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed a joint humanitarian and service cooperation project to be prepared for and agreed upon during the coming period.
