Local sources in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, said that the Houthi militia began imposing sectarian cultural courses on citizens, after the matter was limited to state employees in areas under their control.

The sources confirmed that the neighborhood leaders, under Houthi directives, harass citizens and prevent them from obtaining their share of domestic gas, if they refuse to go to the sectarian mobilization centers and participate in those courses.
