Head of the UN mission in Yemen's Hodeidah survives a minefield explosion, several casualties reported
The Head of the United Nations Mission to support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA), Michael Beary, survived on Tuesday a minefield explosion while his convoy was passing through the governorate in western Yemen, while a number of Houthi leaders and the security guards accompanying the mission were killed and injured.
Local sources said that the minefield explosion occurred while his convoy was passing near the July 7 area in the city of Hodeidah.
