A number of vendors and shoppers were injured, some of them fatally, on Wednesday, by Houthi bullets, in a popular market in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, after they refused to pay financial levies, similar to a similar campaign carried out by the militia in Al Baydha Governorate (center of Yemen).
Local sources told Khabar Agency, that two Houthi gunmen fired live bullets indiscriminately at vendors and shoppers in the popular Al-Balayli market, in the center of the capital Sana'a, after they refused to pay financial levies.
The sources said that the bullets caused casualties, including two who were fatally wounded. All of them were transferred to a number of hospitals in the city for treatment.
This comes one day after a similar campaign carried out by the militia in the city of Rada'a in Al Baydha governorate, killing and injuring four citizens.
The terrorist Houthis practice organized looting against merchants and vendors in the various areas under their control, by imposing exorbitant royalties and financial levies.
