Saudi Arabia detects 561 new Coronavirus cases, 1,102 recoveries

Saudi Arabia detected 561 new coronavirus cases, and 1,102 new recoveries on Wednesday, the Kingdom’s Ministry of Health reported.

The Kingdom also recorded 27 deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,569.

The total number of cases stood at 331,359, while the total number of recoveries was 313,786.

 The city of Mecca recorded 75 cases, Jeddah had 51, while Hafouf had 38.

The Kingdom will begin gradually allowing Umrah pilgrimage starting from October 4, state news agency SPA reported on Tuesday citing the Ministry of Interior.

On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia celebrated its National Day, with concerts and other events, while adhering to COVID-19 precautionary measures, to commemorate the Kingdom’s unification under its founder, King Abdulaziz Al Saud, 90 years ago.
