Iran-backed Houthis blow up several houses in Yemen's Marib

The Iran-backed Houthis continue their criminal practices of bombing citizens' homes in light of the de-escalation on the fronts and the silence of the Yemeni government and the Presidential Leadership Council on what is happening.

The Houthis blew up several houses in the village of Al-Zour and other villages in the Serwah district of the Marib governorate.

Human rights sources said that they had received reports stating that "the Houthis, on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, blew up the houses of Saleh bin Saleh Al-Dawla, Abdullah Saleh Al-Dawla, and Saleh Nasser Al-Dawla, in the village of Al-Zour, west of Marib.

Last February, the Houthis blew up 6 houses of citizens in the same area, after they blew up about 14 houses in the same area east of Serwah within a week after forcibly displacing its residents.

A report by the Civil Commission for the Victims of House Bombings had monitored the bombing of 816 houses that were blown up by the Houthi militia in various governorates from 2014 until mid-2020.

The recent terrorist bombings come in light of the continued extension of the truce.

In addition to demolishing residential buildings, the Houthis are practicing, at a deliberate pace, the demolition of education, health, state institutions, infrastructure ... ect.
