Coronavirus: UAE records 1,064 COVID-19 cases, one death

The UAE recorded 1,064 new coronavirus cases on Monday, and 1,271 recoveries, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The total number of cases in the UAE is 107,293, while the total number of recvoveries is 98,555.

The country has conducted 78,483 COVID-19 tests in 24 hours.

The death toll rose to 446 after one death was recorded, WAM reported.

The UAE authorities began on Sunday imposing fines on individuals with expired visas, after the end of the grace period which was meant to give time to people whose visas expired during the coronavirus related travel restrictions to renew it.
