Jackson's performance against Nottingham Forest was marred by potential disciplinary issues. According to Cundy, the striker could have easily received two yellow cards in the first half alone. This behavior prompted Emery to make a tactical substitution at the break.
Jason Cundy, a former Chelsea player, did not hold back his assessment of Jackson's conduct. "I promise you now, Nicolas Jackson’s discipline is an absolute disgrace," Cundy stated. "I watched him pick up red and yellow cards for fun, he won’t learn. He has a discipline problem."
Cundy elaborated on the nature of Jackson's disciplinary infractions, suggesting they extend beyond mistimed tackles. "The thing with Jackson, he will pick up a yellow card not for a tackle," he explained. "He’ll pick it up for saying something to the referee, pulling someone’s shirt… kicking the ball away, all of that, not when you put in a mistimed tackle."
