Informed sources revealed a financial deal made by Hussein Al-Ahmar with the Houthi militia, with Qatari financing, which went unheeded, after Al-Ahmar transferred exorbitant funds to Turkey.
Sources said that Hussein al-Ahmar, after he was expelled from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Qatar, Doha allocated to Al-Ahmar 300,000 Qatari riyals as a monthly salary, but this salary was suspended by the Qatari authorities at a later time after failing to achieve any results in return.
In return, Hussein Al-Ahmar, has contacted Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the Houthis' Supreme Political Council. sources said.
The sources confirm that Al-Ahmar, weeks before the formation of the Riyadh Agreement government recently, made an offer to the Houthi militias through Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi that includes the dismantling of the fronts loyal to the legitimate government.
Under this service that Al-Ahmar will provide to the Houthi militia, Hussein received an amount of $ 3 million, which Qatar undertook to deliver to him in advance at the request of the Houthi militia from Qatar, which agreed to that plan. However, before the announcement of the formation of the government, in which his brother Hashem was not appointed as defense minister, as expected, he had managed to transfer millions of Qataris money to Turkey to buy real estate and apartments and open private projects next to his brother Hamid al-Ahmar, so that this deal would be one of the most prominent fraud operations that he undertakes.
