Digital wall calendars, initially met with skepticism, have emerged as a surprisingly brilliant tech upgrade, especially with Amazon Prime Big Deal Days offering significant discounts. These devices consolidate all your digital calendars onto a single, easily accessible screen, eliminating the need to constantly check your phone and simplifying family scheduling.
More than just a calendar, these gadgets act as a central family hub. They can manage chores, meal plans, and other household tasks, streamlining daily life. While not a typical smart-home device, many reviewers find them to be the smartest addition to their kitchen or entryway.
For those looking to invest, the Everblog HomeCal 21.5" Calendar presents the best value. It offers robust features like meal planning, chore management, and to-do lists without the subscription fees often associated with similar products. It can also function as a digital photo frame, making it a versatile addition to any home. Currently priced at $280, it's a significant drop from its usual $400.
A more budget-friendly option is the Apolosign Digital Calendar, available for just $249 during the Prime Day sales. This 15.6-inch model offers flexibility with two modes: Apolosign's Calendar Mode or Android Mode, which allows for greater customization, including photo screensavers. While Android Mode offers more personalization, it can sometimes feel less streamlined for calendar functions.
Skylight, a brand known for its digital photo frames, also offers compelling digital calendars. The Skylight Calendar Max boasts a large 27-inch screen and is on sale, though its price point remains higher than other options, and some features are behind a paywall. While Skylight's photo integration is top-notch, and its interface is clean and intuitive, the subscription model for certain functionalities and the steeper price for the larger model might be drawbacks for some.
