Masam Project Dismantles 2,183 Houthi Mines in Yemen during 2nd Week of June

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the second week of June 2021, a total of 2,183 mines, including 2 antipersonnel mines, 728 anti-tank mines, 1,446 unexploded ordnance and 7 explosive devices.

Since the beginning of the project, as many as 254,918 mines have been dismantled.

The project seeks to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury of hundreds of innocent people.
