Humiliation and arrest.. The Houthis' reward for those who fight with them

Everyone of the Yemeni people is aware that the militia will get rid of all those who worked fought with them, without exception, especially those who supported the group themselves and sacrificed their children.

Disposal after service

On the basis of “Use it, then get rid of it,” the Houthi militia moved from the outskirts of Saada to the outskirts of the central regions in Yemen, and there are many indications.

Between the assassinations and direct liquidations, the Houthi militia are working to humiliate and fragment the sheikhs of the Yemeni tribes, and to establish a new social situation in the cities under their control.

Why get rid of them?

The militia consider the tribal sheikhs who supported them and made great sacrifices for the sake of their project a danger to them. No matter how much their sacrifices are, these sheikhs do not believe in their intellectual beliefs and do not belong to them dynastically.

Examples of the series of Houthi disposal of the sheikhs during the recent period

- Early February 2021, the militia got rid of Sheikh Musleh Al-Warawi, one of the most prominent Sheikhs of the Azhar tribe, and one of the most prominent social figures in Amran governorate.

Al-Warawi is considered one of the most prominent notables who supported the Houthi militia and facilitated their nvasion of Amran Governorate in 2013.

He fought with them on several fronts, before disputes erupted between him and Houthi leaders that reached a climax in 2019.

- In March 2020, gunmen raided the house of the Sheikh of Beit Boss district, Akram Haidara, located in the same neighborhood (Beit Boss), and killed him in front of his family.

- In April 2020, tribal Sheikh Hamid Rajeh, one of the sheikhs of the Al-Ahnum area, in Amran governorate, was assassinated in a treacherous targeting operation, while he was carrying out reconciliation efforts, between rivals over a plot of land in Jader area north of Sana’a.

- In July 2020, she killed the prominent tribal sheikh Saleh Ahmed Saleh Faqas, one of the most prominent sheikhs of Al Hada.

- In September 2020, 10 armed Houthi militiamen killed the tribal sheikh Nageeb Qaid Nasser Al-Raymi in the Al-Seer area, in Dhamar governorate, with more than 100 bullets, in the head, neck, legs and shoulders.

- In December 6, 2020, Sheikh Safwan Al-Shaghdari, the son of Sheikh Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, Sheikh Mikhlaf Zubayd and one of the most prominent sheikhs of Ans.

- in October 2020, armed Houthi militiamen stormed the house of Sheikh Ghanim Al-Hatar in Al-Sayani district, south of Ibb, and killed him in front of his family, kidnapped his body, and kidnapped two members of his family.

- In November 2020, Sheikh Hamid Tufyan, a tribal leader in Hajjah Governorate, was shot by a Houthi gunman who worked as an escort for the Houthi security supervisor in Hajjah Governorate, as a result of which he was hit by 6 bullets in the head and chest.

- in Early December 2020, Sheikh Yahya Ali Muhammad Al-Qasim was killed, as a result of the explosion of an explosive device planted in a car he was traveling in front of the Canadian Hospital in the center of Ibb city. This crime occurred meters away from a security point belonging to the Houthi militia.

- in December 2020, the militia killed Sheikh Salman Mane’a Al-Jalhawi, the sheikh of the Bani Hawalli tribe of the Munabbih District of Saada Governorate, on the border with Saudi Arabia, after they launched an attack on the tribe.

A list reveals a tragic end for dozens of sheikhs who served the Houthi militia and were loyal to them at the beginning of their coup against the state. These criminal operations are usually carried out by the so-called “Preventive Security Service,” the security system inspired by Iranian arms in the region.
