Houthi missile strike kills, injures at least 13 civilians in Yemen's Marib

More than 13 civilians, most of them students, were killed and wounded, on Sunday evening, as the Iran-backed Houthis striked a mosque in the south of Ma'rib Governorate (northeast of Yemen).

Local sources told Khabar Agency that the Houthis targeted, with a ballistic missile, a mosque affiliated with the Salafi Center in the populated village of Al-Amoud in Al-Juba District, while Salafi students were sleeping inside the mosque.

It resulted in the death and injury of more than 13 civilians, most of whom were Salafi students, according to a preliminary statistic. The sources added.

Last Thursday, the Houthis targeted, with a ballistic missile, the house of Sheikh Abdul Latif Nimran in the village of  Al-Amoud in Al-Juba District, which killed and injured scored of civilians, including women and children, and a number of homes and properties were also destroyed.
