Second blasts of their kind in 24 hours ... Suspicious explosions rock Iranian-held areas in Deir Ezzor

Syrian Observatory activists have reported hearing new explosions in areas under the control of Iranian forces and Iranian-backed militias in Deir Ezzor countryside for the second consecutive day.

Six explosions were heard today in the countryside of Al-Bokamal city in eastern Deir Ezzor, while uncertainty surrounded the nature of these explosions.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported hearing loud explosions rocking areas under the control of Iranian forces and Iranian-backed militias near Syria-Iraq border, while uncertainty surrounded the nature of these violent explosions whether being caused by a new attack on Iranian positions or other explosions.

On July 12, Observatory sources monitored the entry of new military and logistical reinforcement affiliated to the Popular Mobilization Forces to the Iranian-held areas in Al-Bokamal in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor from Iraq. The reinforcement included military personnel, vehicles, and logistical supplies.

Meanwhile, reliable SOHR sources confirmed that reports on aerial attacks on Iranian positions in Al-Bokamal two days earlier were completely false.
