Yemeni employees and workers in the oil sectors that were run by the Norwegian oil company "DNO" demanded to address their economic conditions after the company left Yemen and without financial dues for them.
The "DNO" was operating in sectors 32, 43 and 47 in eastern Yemen.
Hadi government has recently handed over these sectors to PetroMasila, which started production from the Silsala field in Sector 32, without returning the former sttaf to their work, where they are currently without work and did not received their previous dues, although they have a court order to return them to their previous work.
The Coordinating Council of the Unions of the Three Sectors Workers implemented a protest in front of PetroMasila, demanding the implementation of the judgement to return them to their work and grant them their rights.
Sources said that PetroMasila, which has become the national operator of the oil sectors in eastern Yemen, does not operate according to transparency or under control and accountability, especially as it is subject to the control of the Yemen's Muslim Brotherhood, which contributed to the spread of corruption, especially the leaders in the government.
Yemeni media earlier published reports, in which revealed very serious corruption crimes in the Muslim Brotherhood-controlled oil sector in coordination with the pro-Iranian Houthi militia, through the Yemeni government.
