Six civilians were killed as a result of a Houthi mine explosion on Wednesday, in Hodeidah Governorate (western Yemen).
Local sources said that an anti-vehicle landmine planted by the Houthi militia exploded the moment a civilian car passed near Al-Gharasi Roundabout in Hodeidah.
The explosion killed 6 civilians from one family, and damaged a number of trucks near the site of the explosion. The sources added.
The landmines and explosive devices planted by the Iran-backed Houthis in the areas of the western coastal districts from which they were expelled, claimed the lives of hundreds of civilians, including women and children.
