Yemen: Over 110 Houthi fighters were killed, including prominent military leaders
About 113 Houthi fighters, including 23 recruited children were killed during the past nine days, in the battlefields with Yemeni forces. The Houthi media has revealed.
According to the statistics announced by the Houthi media, during the first nine days of August 2020, the militia lost about 113 Houthi fighters, including 30 military leaders, recruited 23 children.
In a special statistic announced by the Houthi media, the militia lost from the July 10, 2020 to February 23 of the same month, 74 Houthi leaders, 203 fighters, mostly children.
Since the beginning of this year, the Iran-backed Houthi militia has resorted to pressure on the heads of neighborhoods and tribal sheikhs, using many tricks, in order to support them and push fighters to the burning fronts amid complete popular rejection.
In January 2020, the Houthis sent a message to the heads neighborhoods and villages in Sanhan and Bani Bahloul, of Sanaa province calling on them to urgently submit the lists of young men applying to the Houthi Ministry of Defense, with the aim of pushing them to the fronts.
