Calls to free the Yemeni telecommunication and Internet sectors from the Houthis

Activists called on the Yemeni government to free the telecommunications and internet sector from the grip of the Houthi militia, which they using it for the eighth year in their war on Yemenis militarily, financially and economically, and from its revenues they reap huge sums that exceed oil revenues, which the Houthi militias use to finance their war.

The activists called for saving the liberated Yemeni governorates from the militias' control of communications, which they still control and exploit since the beginning of the war, especially in their military operations by monitoring calls, espionage, and monitoring coordinates to target civilians with ballistic missiles and drones.

The Houthis deliberately cut off the Internet during their military attacks, in addition to weakening the network, and it was cut permanently in some liberated governorates, and various areas under the control of the Yemeni government.

They also called on the Presidential Command Council, the government and the Minister of Communications to free the Yemeni communications from the grip of the Houthis.
