Well-informed sources in the capital, Sanaa,, revealed the extent of financial corruption committed by the Iran-backed Houthis with public funds to serve their sectarian and terrorist agenda.
The so-called "General Authority of Endowments" under the Houthi group paid an amount of YR500 million as a participation in setting up a cultural and military course for children that lasted 45 days. The sources said.
Many were drawn to these courses, which were held in several places, and their ages ranged from under 16 years, and they were selected from the various summer centers set up by the militia to indoctrinate their sectarian ideas.
In addition to the agenda that the Iran-backed Houthis seek to achieve through the summer camps by changing the identity of the child and recruiting, they open one of the outlets for livelihood and financial looting of public funds under the pretext of supporting these centers, under the terms of nutrition, luxuries and others.
Video clips have documented some of the military exercises that take place inside the summer camps, which were set up by the Houthis in schools, centers, sports clubs and mosques, and are launched annually during the summer vacation with the aim of recruiting and attracting the largest number of young students.
The Houthis’ summer camps and cultural courses target children and adults as a major part of the strategy to ideologise the population in their control-areas and attract them to fight, encourage hatred and spread violence.
