A plan to seize the office of the Chairman of the Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council

The Yemen's Muslim Brotherhood is currently working to control the Yemeni Presidential Office and its various departments. A Yemeni journalist revealed.

In his Facebook page, Saleh Al Hanashi, said that the leader of the Yemen's Muslim Brotherhood, Nasr Taha Mustafa, was booked in the Marriott Hotel in Aden for a group of young people, and he is working to employ a number of them in the presidential office.

Various reports and sources confirmed that the Muslim Brotherhood seeks to infiltrate the structure of the presidency and the leadership council through employees of different positions and degrees, aiming through this to impose a noose on the President, monitor his daily movements and activities, impose isolation on him as it was implemented on the former President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, who failed to run the state and was isolated by the cadres of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Reports said that the group, which is supervised by Mustafa and other leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood, seeks to provoke conflicts and disputes between members of the Presidential Leadership Council, and to control appointment and employment decisions in various state institutions.

Sources said that while President Rashad Al-Alimi is working to achieve consensus among the members of the Presidential Council, and working for the interest of the country, a group that appears to be close to him is seeking to spoil what he is doing, by trying to tighten control over the presidential decisions and the council’s media.

According to senior political sources, the same figures worked to thwart former President Hadi, and played a suspicious role during the events of 2011, against the late President Ali Abdullah Saleh, and are now working on a new "frame" in order to transform President Al-Alimi into another version of Hadi, to be under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood.
