Masam Project Dismantles 1,081 Houthi Mines within Week in Yemen
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (KSrelief) Masam Project for clearing mines in Yemen, during the fourth week of January 2023, dismantled a total of 1,081 mines that had been planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen.
Since the beginning of the project, as many as 384,220 mines have been dismantled.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, through the project, seeks to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that have been randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing the death and injury of innocent children, women, and the elderly.
