Yemeni Information Minister sells the Ministry of Culture for a car!

In a resounding scandal that offends the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government, the Yemeni Minister of Information handed over to the Hadhramaut Foundation a project provided by UNESCO, worth 25 million euros, to restore the historical cities in Yemen, in exchange for a car he received as a gift.

"Dspite the long historical relationship between the UNESCO Foundation and Yemen, which was working directly through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to restore historical cities, MOAMMAR AL-ERYANI sold the Ministry of Culture and handed it over to a person affiliated with Abdullah Bugshan". The Yemeni Journalist Naif Hassan said.

"The reason for the marginalization of the Ministry of Culture and its deprivation of international projects is due to the monthly salary that AL-ERYANI receives from the Yemeni-Saudi businessman Abdullah Bugshan along with other gifts". Hassan added.

He said that the Yemeni Minister of Information had fabricated a diplomatic position (Deputy Ambassador of Yemen to UNESCO), bypassing the system and the law, and appointed one of Bugshan's employees to fill this position.

Hassan said that the appointed person is a young man in his twenties who used to work in the Hadramout Foundation affiliated with Bugshan.
