A Houthi "diplomat" wanted by a Syrian court, fleeing Damascus and getting married in Yemen's Sanaa

Pictures circulated by Houthi social media showed a wedding ceremony that took place today in Sana'a for a minister delegated by the the Houthi authorities who fled from Syria and is being prosecuted by Damascus.

On the 18th of Ramadan, the Houthi-affiliated Saba Agency published the news of the reception of the Prime Minister of the militia government, Bin Habtoor, to Radwan Al-Haimi, who was the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Houthi embassy in Syria. The agency said that Bin Habtoor listened from Al-Haimi, to an explanation of the activity of the Yemeni embassy in Damascus and its diplomatic efforts to strengthen cooperation relations between the two sides.

While the Houthi authorities dealt with the return of Al-Haimi to Sana'a as part of the visit protocols, however, Yemen Details obtained a secret memorandum addressed to the Houthi Foreign Ministry explaining the real reasons for Al-Haimi's return to Sana'a last March, which in fact came against the backdrop of his expulsion and prosecution by the Syrian authorities on the grounds of moral scandals.

In the memorandum obtained by Yemen Details, the Houthi embassy complains to its foreign affairs about what Al-Haimi had relations with one of the girls, forcing the Syrian security forces to chase him and shoot him.

The memorandum provides details of the incident, calling on the Houthi Foreign Ministry to take deterrent measures, as it harms the image of the embassy, as stated in the appended memorandum on a previous date.

Last March, an official at the Houthi's embassy in Damascus revealed a moral scandal involving a Houthi diplomat with the rank of minister plenipotentiary in Syria, and accused the embassy of using women and prostitutes.

According to private sources, a court in Damascus demanded lifting the immunity of the Houthi "diplomat" Radwan Al-Haimi, impersonating the "Minister Plenipotentiary" according to a complaint by a former embassy official named Adel Al-Awdi.

The sources said that Al-Haimi had left for Sanaa to escape from the session that was scheduled for last March 7, and it was postponed due to the procrastination of the embassy occupied by the Houthis in responding.
