Residents in Harf Sufyan district of Amran governorate, north of the Yemeni capital, found skeletons of 16 people from the district who were kidnapped and killed by the Iran-backed Houthis in 2010 and hidden from their families.
Local sources said that skeletons and skulls were found in a cave in Harf Sufyan, after citizens pulled out its gate, which the militia had built with stones and mud.
The skeletons were tied with hands, which indicates that the abductees were tortured and killed in cold blood. The sources added.

The victims' families called for an international investigation to be opened into this human massacre, and for the perpetrators to be held accountable.
